Ask the Scourge Day a little late

Since I had to travel yesterday I didn't have time to put up an Ask the Scourge post. So here it is a day late.

As always I'll try to research your answer if I don't already have a clue on it.

  1. What are your thoughts on the new blood dps spec (2 hander) : Diseaseless blood?

  2. I don't have any personal experience with it. I know Ghostcrawler has suggested its going to be nerfed in the future.

That said, Skeleton Jack has written a post about it here.

You might check out what he has to say.

  3. I'm thinking of trying blood tanking, I've already been frost (loved it) and unholy (hated it) but I'm having trouble coming up with satisfactory build, got any suggestions?

Does dancing rune weapon's threat count as mine or does it work like gargoyle?

  4. @ Uki,

DRW's threat does not count as yours, it has it's own threat table.

That said, while tanking with a soft enrage, if I have a significant threat lead I've been know to pop my gargoyle to help burn the boss down at the end. If threat is tight, I save my RP for attacks that increase my threat.

For talents, take the blood mitigation talents, the standard 5/5/5, and I would recomend morbidity so you can DnD every 15 seconds. Bloods biggest weakness is AOE threat and without DnD being refreshed on large pulls you may loose aggro to DPS.

  5. This is a little late, but I was wondering if you could tell me about a pvp spec? I'm thinking about doing the arena tournament on my DK with a ret pally & holy pally.

  6. @ Wheresmedrink

Sorry, I have no advice for PvP other than to NEVER take PvP advice from me.

Back in Season 1 I rolled my warlock in arena with a shadow priest. That was the big combo that supposedly rocked the charts. We were in the 1300's.

Season two as a druid didn't treat me any better.

I know for a fact I suck at PvP and outside of the occasial world dustup have no interest in it.

Your best bet for information would be to check out Arena Junkies.
